SEAT Mii by MANGO on sale now from £10,995

A special edition SEAT Mii, developed with Spanish fashion label MANGO, is on sale now and costs just under £11,000

The limited edition SEAT Mii by MANGO supermini is now on sale, priced at £10,995 for the entry-level three-door and rising to £11,345 for the range-topping five-door model.

Showcased earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, the new flagship trim has been developed alongside Spanish fashion label MANGO, and aims to create a new identity for SEAT’s version of the Volkswagen up! and Skoda Citigo.

As you might expect, given the new model’s catwalk connections, changes are primarily stylistic.

Alongside the distinctive Mii by MANGO badging, customers will be offered a choice of two exclusive paint schemes: a ‘Nude’ finish with dark grey alloys or a metallic ‘Deep Black’ paired to silver wheels.

Tinted windows, plus contrasting side trim details and door mirrors also help it stand out visually from the current top-of-the-range Sport spec on which it’s based.

MANGO has likewise taken the opportunity to revise the Mii’s interior, adding unique leather and perforated Alcantara upholstery, contrasting piping and stitching, as well as branded floor mats, door sills and keyfob.

Standard kit for the new SEAT is shared with Sport trim, so the Mii by MANGO gets remote central locking, electric windows, air conditioning and the Portable System Live infotainment system featuring satnav, hands-free Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming.

On top of this, SEAT has made improvements across the range, as the MANGO edition’s launch also marks the introduction of ESC, tyre pressure monitoring and Hill Hold Control as standard on all Mii trim levels.

Offering buyers of the new top-spec model an added slice of exclusivity is the MANGO Style Pack, which includes a panoramic glass sunroof and front fog lights for £690.

They’ll have to settle for identical performance though, as power will come from the same 74bhp three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine currently offered in the Mii line-up.

Fitted exclusively with the Mii’s five-speed manual gearbox, this is good for a 0-62mph time of 13.2 seconds, emissions of only 108g/km of C02 and a claimed 60.1mpg.

Although availability has yet to be comfirmed, SEAT expects the first UK deliveries to take place in August.
