New Citroen e-Berlingo Flair XTR XL seven-seater on sale now from £32,995

The latest addition to the Citroen e-Berlingo range sports two extra seats and even more space

Citroen e-Berlingo

Citroen has added a new range-topping trim level to its e-Berlingo line-up in the form of the seven-seat Flair XTR XL.

The ‘XL’ in the name stands for the 35cm of length added over the standard ‘M’ version, allowing for a maximum load length of more than three metres, plus 500 litres more load capacity with the rear seats folded.

Other features added to this top of the range e-Berlingo include Citroen’s Connect Nav with an eight-inch touchscreen and a 10-inch digital driver’s display, reversing camera, Active Safety Brake, Intelligent Beam Headlights, opening tailgate window, dual-zone climate control, and remote temperature pre-conditioning.

Exterior changes include a set of 17-inch 'Spin' alloy wheels, gloss black roof bars, as well as front and rear scuff plates. There are also some other changes such as orange foglight surrounds, XTR badging and ‘Resada Green’ interior ambient lighting.

Since Citroen’s Berlingo range is now exclusively fully electric, this new e-Berlingo is powered by a 100kW electric motor linked to a 50kWh Lithium-ion battery pack offering a WLTP range of up to 174 miles on a single charge.

Citroen e-Berlingo

This, like all other e-Berlingo Electric models, can be recharged up to 80% in 30 minutes at a public rapid charging station (up to 100kW), and in 7½ hours via a 7kW single-phase 32A home wall charger.

Prices for the Citroen e-Berlingo Flair XTR start at £31,995 for the M version and £32,995 for the XL variant. Using the plug-In car grant, prices start at £29,495 for the cheapest Berlingo model variant, but the XL does not qualify for the grant.
